On
Monday, January 25, 2010, the Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF)
awarded grants to administrators, faculty and staff in Hillsborough
schools. The Hillsborough
Education Foundation's mission is to enrich the educational experiences
of children in Hillsborough and to foster lifelong learning for the
entire community. Awarding grants for innovative programs and in
support of community learning are two of the ways the HEF meets its
mission. The group serves as
a conduit for private investment in public education and fundraises to
be able to offer grants, scholarships, and sponsored programs.

Music in the Park, Thursdays 7:00-8:30 PM, Ann Van Middlesworth Park! The event is free and all are welcome. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, picnic and friends and family to enjoy a relaxing evening! Visit us on Facebook (type in Hillsborough Education Foundation or Music in the Park) for band information, pictures, and more. Become a fan to receive inclement weather announcements!!!
In our inaugural year, the Music in the Park program series features a new artist every week for 5 weeks. The musical acts for this year include blues, rock 'n roll, country and eclectic. Pretzels and drinks are available for purchase.
The program supports HEF's goal of building a community that is dedicated to lifelong learning.
